數字驅動的可持續智慧城市能源管理

摘要:

科技是協助解決人類社會所面臨挑戰以及未來可持續發展的堅實基礎,而近年來數字科技的長足發展,特別是基於物聯網和人工智慧的各種智能功能與系統,促進了我們對物理環境狀態和活動精確又廣泛的瞭解。 城市化的趨勢使得原本多元與複雜的城市發展更加困難。數字與物理資訊的整合和解析,提供了有效改善城市內各種資源運用、環境維護、生活便利、經濟活絡的核心基礎。能源管理因能源系統複雜性及其重要作用,成為現今城市發展最具挑戰性的議題之一;而智能交通亦是減少能耗以及促進可再生能源發展,達到城市可持續性的關鍵因素。城市應提升能源供需資訊的透明度和掌握度,借由各種能源解決方案的智能管理與整合,從高度協調與合作優化中獲得綜效。本報告概述當前智慧城市於能源領域的發展,而關注重點為能源管理系統與智能交通系統的技術與應用,以及協助轉變能源供應至可再生能源、提高城市能源效能與實現可持續智慧城市的關鍵因素,並且簡介智慧城市背景下的相關實施案例。

Achieving Smart Sustainable City through Digitally-driven Energy Management

Abstract: In recent years, the rapid development of digital technology, i.e. various intelligent functions and systems based on the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, has heightened our state of physical environment. The integration and analysis of digital and physical information could provide a core foundation to effectively improve a lot of areas in urban development, including but not limited to: the use of various resources in the city, environmental maintenance, convenience of life, and economic activity. Energy management is one of the most challenging issues in urban development due to the complexity of energy systems and its essential role. Improved transparency and understanding of energy supply and demand information should be cities' priorities. Smart transportation is also a critical factor in reducing energy consumption and promoting renewable energy development to achieve urban sustainability. Highly coordinated and cooperative optimization through intelligent management and integration of various energy solutions are required to achieve the synergy. This report describes the current development of smart cities in the energy sector, with focus on the technologies and application of energy management systems and intelligent transportation systems. Moreover, the key points on helping the transformation of energy supply to renewable energy, improving urban energy efficiency and achieve sustainable smart cities, also described.
