Abstract: The SMR has the characteristics of more safety and reliability, diverse application scenarios, flexible deployment, short construction period, low total investment and low construction risk. It has become a new field of global nuclear power technology research and development to more deployments. The translator grasped this industry trend and translated the technical report of IAEA “ Technology Roadmap for Small Modular Reactor Deployment ”, and provided the opportunity of knowing the technology trend of international small modular reactor to Chinese readers.
